Our Company's History
Rademacher, Inc. originally started as Pat Rademacher D/B/A Rademacher. Initially we did CDL driveaway as terminal management. The terminal we managed delivered 5000 to 6000 new cement mixers, refuse trucks, and refrigerated trucks for some of the largest manufacturers in the USA.
In 1999 we acquired a three car wedge trailer and truck to pickup lease return units in the metro area of Minneapolis & St. Paul, MN. In the same year we started to move rental car turn-backs from rail auto ramp to the local auto auctions. In June of 1999, we incorporated as Rademacher, Inc. Late in May of 1999 we started to transport wheel chair accessible vans throughout the United States for a local manufacturer.
November of 1999 we realized the company we had our truck leased to could not provide the support and insurance coverage we needed to grow. We applied for our own Federal License and insurance. This license was granted in January of 2000. In June of 2001 we gave up our driveaway management contract to focus primarily on auto transport. We now have nine auto transports and move in excess of 20,0000 vehicles per year.
